Ultima Power GmbH operates in the field of grid protection technology. In this environment, the highest precision is decisive: even the smallest errors or moments of carelessness can lead to supply interruptions or even personal injury and property damage – either immediately or only years later. Very much in the spirit of Henry Ford: "Quality means doing it right when no one is looking."

Guided by this standard, it was essential for us to find a sustainable and holistic solution to the existing moisture problem when renovating our company building.

In 2022, Ultima Power GmbH acquired a building dating from 1938 at the conneKT technology park in Kitzingen. The structural situation proved to be very challenging: the base slab was practically always in the groundwater, which meant the walls were severely damp. During the complete refurbishment from 2022 to 2025, the building was comprehensively upgraded.

As the moisture in the existing walls continued to pose a risk, we decided on the Drymat drying system. The decisive factors for us were the comprehensible physical approach, the comparatively low installation effort and the very low ongoing operating costs.

The results speak for themselves: after just one year, the moisture measurements carried out showed a clear reduction in structural moisture. The indoor air also does not smell unpleasant or stale – exactly as had been explained to us beforehand. From our point of view, a long-term effective solution was achieved.

Today we are convinced that our building is among the driest existing properties at the site. The Drymat system has met our expectations, and we can recommend both the technology and the cooperation with Drymat without reservation.
