Precise moisture measurement

With modern microwave moisture meters, moisture in walls and components can be reliably detected – without any damage. The measurements are made in the form of a grid, so that the moisture distribution and moisture content are visible at different depths (0–3 cm, 0–30 cm or 0–50 cm). The results can be visualised in colour and displayed as a measurement image.

This measurement method can be used to prove whether it is condensate moisture due to incorrect ventilation or heating, or whether there is structural damage such as rising moisture or leakage. The results serve as a sound basis for expert opinions, arguments or decisions on necessary drains.

We use the MOIST 200 microwave moisture meter, which delivers precise data while also enabling colour-coded and graphical visualisation. This makes it possible to identify exactly where moisture is penetrating the structure and which defects might be responsible.
