The company Drymat® Systeme was founded in 1997 by Frank Lindner, who at that time had already gained extensive experience with the drying of buildings.
In doing so, he increasingly focused on the task of masonry drying. He familiarised himself with the various methods and quickly came to the conclusion that, among the available solutions, the "active" ones were the most promising in the long term and offered by far the most favourable price-performance ratio. However, Frank Lindner was not entirely satisfied with any of the available systems – so he developed his own system in collaboration with various specialists and scientists.
The first prototypes quickly passed their acid test, and the system was ready to go into series production. Compared to the original model, today's Drymat® System 2030 EO+ has been optimised in many details, but in principle it remains unchanged from the original idea. The use of materials such as titanium anodes that are additionally coated with precious metals guarantees the user a very long service life for the entire dehumidification and desalination system.
What distinguishes Drymat® from the majority of conventional dehumidification methods is the fact that electrophysical masonry dehumidification is not a one-time event but a continuous process. The Drymat® becomes an integral part of the building and forms an active barrier. This ensures that the building fabric is not only dried but also kept dry for decades.
This solution is available in Germany and numerous other European countries, such as Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Russia, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Estonia – the regional representatives at home and abroad are thoroughly trained and provide all Drymat® services at a high level, from needs assessment through installation to performance monitoring.
The name Drymat® has long been synonymous among specialists with effective, scientifically validated and field-proven dehumidification. Soon it will be known to an even wider public, because we are working on a major European project that will further accelerate the breakthrough of the electrophysical process. You can look forward to it.
You will find our representatives throughout Germany, as well as in Switzerland and Austria.
Drymat receives prequalification
Drymat-Systeme receives its PQ certificate as proof of expertise, performance capability and reliability in public tenders
Prequalification is the upstream, contract-independent verification of eligibility credentials in accordance with the requirements defined in § 6 VOB/A. This allows any company interested in public contracts to demonstrate its suitability to public contracting authorities.
The assessment is bound by the guideline of the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS) for conducting a prequalification procedure dated 25 April 2005, as amended on 7 April 2011.
Companies wishing to take part in public tenders must demonstrate their expertise, performance capability and reliability for this purpose. This proof is provided through an upstream, contract-independent assessment and implements the requirements defined in VOB/A in a legally secure manner. Thereafter, the eligibility credentials are kept up to date and the company is listed in the central online register for prequalification.
