What does Drymat deliver, at what price, in what quality, with what durability?

The Drymat® EO+ system meets all the requirements for a long service life and any interested party can inspect the production of Drymat, as well as all materials used, in our production facility after prior notification. For this purpose, we regularly offer guided tours of our production facility. If you are interested, please use our contact form to make an appointment.

The Drymat control unit, featuring state-of-the-art RISC chip technology, an LCD display, overvoltage protection and high-quality SMD components* – all MADE IN GERMANY. Every single component was built to industrial standard level 3 (DIN standard). This means: the maximum possible quality level in industrial manufacturing in accordance with the DIN standard.

Only quality SMD components* with the highest thermal constancy, which possess the highest thermal stability and are used, for example, in aerospace or implant technology (medical implants), are installed. For this reason, Drymat® Systeme can offer its customers a warranty of 20 years for the Drymat® control units.

The aim of the test is to approximately simulate the ageing of the Drymat electronic device over a period of 30 years by means of a suitable test. The ageing test was carried out based on the standard DIN EN 61709: "Electronic components – Reliability – Reference conditions for failure rates and stress models for conversion", incorporating the Arrhenius equation.

Thanks to the highly developed self-diagnosis system, all information is displayed in the form of messages on the LCD display. State-of-the-art RISC chip technology is used here. Diagnosis and problem-solving are thus handled simply and conveniently.

In addition, a special safety system causes the device to switch off should excessive voltage occur on the supply line (for example in the event of a lightning strike). A built-in, automatic self-protection that never requires a fuse change! In doing so, we are in constant contact with our engineers – every innovation, however small, that gives us competitive advantages in the market is implemented at short notice. Exclusively highly motivated regional specialists carry out research and coordinate with one another, implementing technical innovations swiftly.

Your advantage is our disadvantage: sometimes we cannot keep up with reprinting and updating our printed materials. Once a control unit has finally been produced, that is by no means the end of it: every circuit board is X-rayed once more and examined by optical lasers – only through our high quality standards can we convince our customers throughout Europe of our system over the long term.

Finally, in actual use the Drymat® system is installed into damp masonry. Here we use exclusively anodes, cathodes and connecting cables made of precious metal. Incidentally, this is also recommended by the latest standard 3355/2017 for use in masonry.
We give all our customers a 20-year guarantee on the durability of the materials used. Materials are therefore required that have been proven to last for several decades in masonry.

The anodes we use in particular have already been in practical use in industry for more than 45 years.

*The term surface-mounted device (SMD) is a technical term from electronics. These components (such as resistors, capacitors, crystals, diodes, transistors, coils or integrated circuits) have no wire leads, but are instead soldered directly onto a printed circuit board (flat assembly) by means of conductive connection pads. The associated technique is surface mounting (surface-mounting technology, SMT). Source: wikipedia.de

Due to continuously rising world market prices, the procurement costs for these selected materials are unfortunately very high, so that our prices depend on current daily rates for raw materials on the world market. However, after years of practical project experience, we are convinced that one must under no circumstances economise on the quality of the materials used.

Costs and prices

We offer anodes and cathodes in various lengths and types depending on the masonry thickness and application.

Positive electrodes are available as rod, strip or surface anodes.
We will gladly quote current prices on request.

Energy costs

In times of continuously rising energy costs in Germany, we are often asked how much electricity our systems consume annually.

Based on the data shown in the display, when operated as intended, our system requires about 7.00 euros per year (at 35 cents per kWh) for a 100 sqm house.
