Even in the case of rubble stone masonry, capillary rising damp can be reliably stopped. By using our electrophysical Drymat system, an effective electrical horizontal barrier could be established – without interfering with the structural stability of the historic masonry.

Thanks to the dense, ring-shaped laying of the electrodes, excellent results are achieved even with rubble stone constructions. Even the tiniest currents are sufficient to reverse the existing negative potential in the masonry and thus effectively interrupt the capillary transport of moisture.
