italienisch House in Upper Lusatia – drying out a four-sided farmstead with brick masonry
Family U. lives in a four-sided farmstead in Upper Lusatia near Görlitz, which is home to two families. The house, built around 1900, is made of brick masonry. In 1990, a horizontal barrier was installed using the sawing method. Over time, however, this seal lost its effectiveness, so that moisture problems occurred again.
Looking for a sustainable solution for drying out masonry in Lusatia, Family U. decided in 2025 to have our Drymat system installed. The family is very satisfied with the results so far. The visible drying of the masonry and the uncomplicated installation were particularly convincing.
