A solid two-family house with natural-stone masonry.
The L. family from Mulda owns a well-maintained two-family house with natural-stone walls over 50 cm thick. The plinth area in particular showed clear signs of moisture – a typical damage pattern in older, solidly built buildings without a functioning horizontal damp-proof course.
Our solution:
To dehumidify the masonry, we installed our proven Drymat system. Specially configured varistor anodes were used, which deliver a precisely defined amount of current evenly into the masonry. This so-called "active electrophysical barrier" ensures a controlled reversal of the moisture movement within the wall cross-section.
Efficient and economical:
The power consumption for drying and keeping the walls dry is under €10 per year.
A major advantage of our system:
The waterproofing level is not determined by external coincidences or the nature of the wall, but specifically by the position of the cathodes – it lies beneath the building and thus protects against capillary rising moisture.
Do you also have problems with damp walls or rising damp? With our online damage analysis, you can record the condition of your building in just a few steps and receive a non-binding assessment of wall drying. Simple, free and risk-free.
