Current project 10-2023: the drying out of a large church nave in Baden-Württemberg.

There are not many ways to protect old and additionally very thick masonry from moisture. After several centuries, the metre-thick walls can now finally dry out. As the installation comprises more than 140 linear metres, 2 control units are required for this.

The cathodes are always embedded beneath the masonry, which means the future waterproofing plane lies underneath the building. The floor is therefore also reliably protected against the ingress of moisture in future. Because a special series resistor sits in front of each anode, it is guaranteed that the electron migration – and thus the drying – can take place absolutely evenly.
